NOTICE

Proposed amendments to the Hawaii Audubon Society's Bylaws will be mailed to HAS members for approval this month. The complete wording of the amendments is currently available in the Society's office and members may call the office and request an electronic copy. The reasons for the proposed amendments are two-fold: 1) to reflect recent changes in Hawaii state law for charitable non-profits, and 2) to reflect current or needed changes in the operating procedures of the Society. The Board of Directors recommends approval of the proposed amendments.
