Popular Birding Sites on The Island of O`ahu

Directions to Sites

    (Urban Birds)

  1. Kapi`olani Regional Park
    In Waikiki, bordered by Kalakaua, Monsarat and Paki Avenues.
     
  2. Ala Moana Regional Park
    Take Ala Moana Boulevard (92) to Ala Moana Park Drive either across from Auahi Street or Atkinson Drive (makai of the Ala Moana Shopping Center).
     
  3. Kualoa Regional Park
    From Kaneohe Town, take Kahekili/Kamehameha Highways (83) North to Kualoa Point, turn right at Park.
     
  4. Ho`omaluhia Botanic Garden
    In Kaneohe town, take Kamehameha Highway (83) to Luluku Road and proceed mauka to the end of the road through the open gate. Park hours are 9 AM to 4 PM daily except Christmas and New Years Day.
